The final paper will describe development of electric cars, it's working principle as well as it's basic components. The biggest problem of the first electric cars was the shorter range or autonomy compared to other types of cars, and this is due to the car battery. The same problem exists with today's electric cars, which is why those with an intertal combustion engine are still common. The next two chapters will be written about the advantages and disadvantages of electric cars, as well as the comparison with cars powered by an internal combustion engine. The most text is written about electric motors, of which there are many types, and they are the most important part of an electric car. Mention will also be made of the battery and steering wheel, and mechanical part of the electric car which is very important, and that is the differential. The last chapter will present information about the greatest Croatian achievement in the history of cars, namely Rimac Automobili d.o.o., with its Concept One and Concept Two, which is one of the best cars in the world, in general.
