Abstract
Jagoda (Fragaria) je zeljasta, grmolika i višegodišnja biljka iz porodice ruža (Rosaceae). Prvi puta su jagode uzgojene u Francuskoj u 14 stoljeću. Masovni uzgoj je počeo u 20 stoljeću. U prvoj godini nakon sadnje daje najkvalitetniji prinos plodova. Od druge godine pa nadalje slabi joj vegetativni rast, a plodovi su slabije kakvoće. Danas se uglavnom radi uzgoj na crnoj foliji i u zaštićenim prostorima. Najintenzivniji rast je u proljeće na temperaturi od 5 °C. Otporna je na niske temperature te podnosi i do -18 °C. Plodovi jagode pogodni su za upotrebu u svježem stanju, za zamrzavanje i kao sirovina za industrijsku preradu. U radu je opisano praćenje proizvodnje jagode na OPG-u Lovinčić koji se nalazi u Starom Slatiniku.
Abstract (english)
Strawberry (Fragaria) is a herbaceous, shrub and perennial plant of the rose family (Rosaceae). The first time the strawberries grown in France in the 14th century. Large-scale cultivation began in the 20th century. In the first year after planting gives the best fruit yield. From the second year onwards weakens her vegetative growth and fruits are poor quality. Today, it is mainly the cultivation of the black film and in protected areas. The most intensive growth in the spring at a temperature of 5 °C. It is resistant to low temperatures, and is submitted up to -18 °C. The fruits of strawberries are suitable for use in fresh, freezing and as a raw material for industrial processing. In operation described production monitoring strawberries at OPG Lovinčić situated in Stari Slatinik.
