Abstract
U radu je provedeno istraživanje o samom pojmu e-bankarstva te velikog utjecaja tehnologije na sam pojam bankarstva. Bankarstvo se razvijalo u skladu s tehnologijom. Novi načini života, nove navike i potrebe klijenata, utjecale su na razvoj bankarstva. Tehnologija iz dana u dan napreduje pa banke, ako žele uspješno poslovati, moraju kontinuirano pratiti razvoj i napredak tehnologije. Bankarstvo se uvelike razlikuje od bankarstva u njegovim počecima. Elektroničko bankarstvo omogućava obavljanje bankarskih transakcija bilo gdje i bilo kada, čime se doprinosi uštedi vremena i sredstava. Banke sve rjeđe šalju pismene obavijesti poštom, a sve više šalju e-mailove, što ujedno znači i uštedu papira a time utječe i na očuvanje okoliša. U današnje vrijeme da bi klijenti pristupili bankama, potreban je samo pristup internetu.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyses a term of e-banking and the big influence of technology on that term. Banking is developing together with technology. New ways of life, plenty of new habits and needs of clients affected the development of banks. Technology is progressing day by day and banks, if they want to make a success, continue to follow the development and progress of technology. E-banking makes possible to do some transactions using the internet connection in any time from any place and in that way clients are saving their time and money. Banks reduce the use of paper by sending e-mails which is good for environmental protection. To access the banks, clients only need a good internet conection.
