Abstract
Poljoprivredna proizvodnja se temelji na iskorištavanju zelene biljke koja stvara organsku tvar uz pomoć klorofila i sunčeve svjetlosti. Životinje, hraneći se biljkama, stvaraju visokovrijedne animalne proizvode pri čemu značajnu ulogu ima pravilna hranidba. Krmiva se prema koncentraciji hranjivih tvari i uporabnoj vrijednosti mogu podijeliti na koncentrirana i voluminozna u koja pripadaju i kultivirane trave. Kultivirane trave mogu se koristiti kao zelena krma ispašom ili nakon košnje konzerviranjem, sušenjem i industrijskom preradom. Najveći značaj imaju u hranidbi preživača, kopitara i kunića.
Abstract (english)
Agricultural production is based on using green plants that produce organic matter using chlorophyll and sunlight. Animals feeding on plants create animal products that are high in value, so proper nutrition is of great importance. According to nutritional value and usage, fodder can be divided into concentrates and voluminous fodder, which includes cultivated plants. Cultivated plants can be used as forage either by grazing animals or after being cut and conserved, dried, and industrially processed. Their greatest importance is as food source for ruminants, odd-toed ungulates, and rabbits.
