Abstract
U radu su se analizirale definicije informatike u poslovanju i njihova važnost u menadžmentu. Nadalje, sagledale su se nove tehnologije u logistici, pobliže su se pokušale približiti radio-frekvencijska identifikacija, elektroničko poslovanje, automatizacija robnih procesa i elektronička razmjena podataka, te uloga transporta i skladištenja. Predstavljene su informacije vezane uz Konzum d.d., njegova povijest razvoja, te njegovi današnji logistički centri. Analizirana je implementacija radio-frekvencijske identifikacije u Konzum logističke centre i aktivnosti poslije same implementacije. Konzum d.d. upotrebom RFID tehnologije jača svoju trenutnu tržišnu poziciju u regiji, te si osigurava bolju početnu poziciju za eventualna daljnja širenja na ostala tržišta u kojima je optimizacija upravljanja opskrbnim lancem neophodan čimbenik za konkurentsku prednost.
Abstract (english)
The paper analyzes the definitions of IT in business and their importance in management. Furthermore, new technologies in logistics have been studied, closer attempts have been made to approximate radio frequency identification, electronic business, automation of goods processes and electronic data exchange, and the role of transport and storage. Information about Konzumd.d., its history of development and its current logistics centers were presented. The implementation of radio-frequency identification in Konzum logistics centers and activities after implementation were analyzed. Konzumd.d. using RFID technology strengthens its current market position in the region and provides a better starting position for further expansion to other markets where supply chain management optimization is an indispensable factor for competitive advantage.
