Abstract
U našoj zemlji bazga se smatrana korovom koji raste na rubovima šuma. Sve više ljudi vide potencijal u bazgi kao što su vidjeli u prošlosti kada su je koristili većinom kao lijek. Bazga je prvenstveno korištena kao samonikla biljka, no sada se uzgaja u komercijalne svrhe radi: proizvodnja boje, proizvodnja soka, kulinarstvo, alternativni lijekovi. Povoljni ekološki uvjeti uzgoja, jednostavna agrotehnika čine bazgu pogodnom i za ekološki uzgoj. Uzgoj bazge se značajno isplati, posebno ako se iskorištava plod bazge koji je jako cijenjen na tržištu U praktičnom dijelu rada opisan jednostavan i brz postupak pripreme soka od cvijeta crne bazge. Za kvalitetan i ukusan sok najbitnije je ubrati cvjetove s nezagađenog mjesta i u fazi pune cvatnje kada cvjetovi imaju ugodan miris i sadrže najviše aktivnih tvari.
Abstract (english)
In our country elder is considered as a weed that grows on the edges of he forest. Today much more people see potentials in elder as as it was in past when it was used as a cure. The elder is primarily used as a self-existig plant, but nowadays it is cultivated for commercial purposes: dye production, juice production, culinary, alternative medicines. The favourable ecological conditions, simple agrotechnics make elder suitable for organic farming. The elder cultivation is significantly profitable, especially elder fruit wich is appreciated on the market. In the practical part of the paper, a simple and fast preparation and production of elder flower juice were described. For high-quality and delicious juices, it is most important to pick the flowers from clean spot in the full flowering stage when the flowers have a pleasing odor and contain the most active substances.
